21/09/2009, my dearie's birthday and it has been a week of nice celebrations and well wishes from her friends and me and i decided to bring her to Les Amis for her official birthday dinner, heh.. (Voted no 2 in Singapore leh, haha) I just wanted to give her a really really great birthday this year, to celebrate us going strong after some turbulent times and wishing us well for the future!
The ambience was great, really classy, but of course, the older men beside me were staring at me when i came in, "This boy got money to pay meh?" they must have thought. Well, i do, i saved up for it so of course i do, ^^ Next, the food, now i don't know why people at hungrygowhere, ok, SOME PEOPLE, say that the food isn't fantastic because to me, it was, brilliant, a few minor tweaks to the garnishes would have been perfect but hey, we're all human eh? Still, i rate them a 9/10 because that 1 mark is for them to further improve! ^^ They were really sweet, they designed ♥'s menu because i said she loved foie gras and don't take seafood and they executed it perfectly, the dessert at the end was also special for her!
At last, after paying, i thought all was over but no! The waiter came over and told me (while she was in the toilet) that they have a little treat for her, a birthday cake! Brilliant, with the words happy birthday which were compliments from the pâtissier! Then suddenly, they started raining down more sweet, delectable desserts for us, woo hoo, sugar rush! My goodness, all of the beautiful desserts on the house? Madness, their service is really impeccable...
I really would recommend Les Amis to anyone who wants to have a special dinner with that special someone, of course, its a little costly but all of that is worthwhile when you see the sparkling white smile you put on the special someone's face... ^^ Happy Birthday again baby!
A fantastic day for me and ♥ today, had a good lunch, then today’s weather is really nice and cool, went to ION Orchard for some shopping, after finding nothing at Pull and Bear, decided to head to Topman instead, bought 3 tops and 1 pants instead and surprise surprise, just as i was commenting that even though i am always happy with the purchases from the shop, i always leave the place depressed because i just spent a huge sum of money, ^^ the cashier suddenly became excited because as ♥ was a F3 member, we went into the auto draw and we became one of the lucky 2 to win a Sony-Ericsson X-Series MP3 player! Worth over $500!!!! Man, and i actually saw the sign and was wondering how is that even possible?!!
Well, it happened to us and needless to say, we were really really happy and excited, the MP3 player looks great and after playing with it for awhile, realised it has FM, Youtube, Internet, Podcasts, Videos and Photo functions! Perfect! And its touch-screen! Going to share it with ♥, hee, what a lucky lucky day today! And i attribute it to being with the birthday month girl, ^^ and in the sure-win lucky dip, we won Benefit products and a Topshop notepad, heh, though these gifts become really small because of the MP3… ^^

Hope you all love it as much as Dear & I did, it is a really special story...
Went to watch Disney/Pixar's up with Dear on Saturday, kinda lucky in my opinion because it was full house everywhere but i was damn happy to get the tix, really happy!
As always, the show was a delight like most Pixar/Disney cartoons that i watch with Dear but this was absolutely sweet, it made me cry twice and made me wanna hold Dear's hand all the way and never let go...
Disney/Pixar really outdone themselves this time round and honestly, some "real" love stories/movies can take a cue from them, you don't need complicated love stories, just a simple and straightforward one, about how a couple met, fall in love and having the adventure of their life together and eventually, how one tries his/her very best to fulfil the dream of the other...
Love doesn't have to be that complicated, just keep it simple and love each other, appreciate each other, because you never know when you might never be able to see the other ever again...
Its Monday and i reached work at 6.50am,
I'm bored and thinking i have class 8.50am with a new class, dunno what to expect...
Looking forward to pay day on the 12th so can start paying my premiums
I need to get some exercise soon, getting fat and chubby, like a Mr Tubby
Spent the weekend out with ♥, had a great great time shopping with her
But the parking at ION was crazy, $10 plus for 1 and a half hour's parking...

Seriously, if a 14 year old can do it, all of us can fulfil our dreams, really...
A funny question was asked by my students in class today, a boy stood up with his hand raised and asked, "Cher, what is your talent?" I was stunned to be honest, cause i really don't know, i'm a jack of all trades and master of none, haha, i really wanted to say that.
In the end, i told him i really don't know and that unfortunately, i really can't see what is it, i love photography but its not fantastic or loved by many, when i write, people don't read, i suck at arts and physically, i'm at the mediocre fitness level. ^^
I think for me, i should really stop looking for my talent because honestly, maybe i haven't found it and that is why i'm not getting any continual specified recognition in something.
I do have to thank 
though because she believes in me and she i believe is also wonderfully talented. ^^
Congrats to all if you found your talent, i haven't found mine yet, maybe i never will but i'm glad i have someone that appreciates me and honestly, i now learn to treasure that and will continue to treasure for a long time to come.
