Renee & My Works!

Went to East Coast Rd near Frankel Ave for ice-cream! Its a nice little ice-cream shop tucked away at one of the private buildings, their ice cream is great cos you get to choose the ice-cream and a additional topping which ranges from kinder bueno to rice crisps to m&m and many more and the fun part is, they "fry" your ice-cream with the toppings, nice. Then, as we sat outside, we decided to take some pictures with Ghim Khoon's camera (thanks bro!) and we manage to get some nice shots of each other! Nice~

Choices...

In this ever-changing, realistic, depressing and
somewhat negative world, we often forget the good
things in life.

No, I'm not talking about your iphones, ipods,
PlayStations or your fancy WRXs or other cars. I'm talking
about the simple things in life and essentially,
I'm talking about ourselves, the human soul.

I always believe that humans were born good, but the
only problem is, we are and always have to make choices,
and that is when the line between good and evil,
right and wrong gets blurred.

I am not one to judge what is right or wrong, good
or evil so before you start ranting about how biased
i am or how do i know that I'm right, let me set
things straight first, i don't. I'm just giving
my perspective on things, that's all.

Love seems to be the greatest conqueror of all
then, its publicised and preached by almost every
religion and culture, the only difference maybe, is
what and who to love.

However, because of love, many people end up
making the wrong choices in life, they give up
on themselves because they lost someone, they kill
because of their jealousy, they love another while being
with someone.

There are also right choices that people in love make,
they become happier, they bring joy to others and they
make their own lives enriching.

Even when it comes to my favourite subject, customer
service, love is involved. It depends whether the company
loves its customers and often, those who do, will have
better customer service.

I have had opportunities to see some of the worst and some
of the best customer service in my short 24 year life and
I'm deeply saddened by how companies or people just simply
cannot comprehend the importance of customer service. It
doesn't win you new customers per se, but importantly, it
helps retain the existing ones and when they spread the word
of your good stuff, you can be sure your new customers would
come.

I've had run ins with 2 mobile companies, namely (N) and
(M), i won't say their names but I'm sure you are smart
enough. ;) i followed (N) company for many many years,
since i was in secondary school till i was in polytechnic
but once, they pissed me off, they made me wait 3 whole
months to get my LCD screen fixed. The problem is, when
i first send it for repair, they say they will call me
back in 3 weeks, then 2 weeks and so on, it was not until
i brought it up all the way to the head of (N) company,
did i get it fixed, and luckily for me, they did it promptly,
but its been 3 months, madness!

Thus, i switched from (N) company to (M) company and my oh
my, everything was ok, till the phone got spoilt. The
problem is somewhat similar as before but this time, they
fixed it on time, but it justs keeps getting spoiled
again and again. I made a fuss at the repair centre and
then i realise i wasn't alone, neither was i childish,
another lady made a fantastic remark. i quote "you guys (M company)
always SAY but DON"T DELIVER". Best sentence I've heard
for awhile, period.

Companies and people must always understand a certain truth,
if you say something, you have to deliver, if not, you
should "die" trying to. People can get angry at times but
honestly, i feel that if people can see the effort you are
putting in, they might just cut you some slack. This is
relevant to all things in life, not just customer service.

I'm going to repair another tech item for Renee soon and
so far, i am a little pissed with the customer service I'm
getting but it isn't over yet so lets see how they finish it
off, they are known for good customer service or so I've heard.
Lets wait and see... :)

I'm going to give my all in everything i do now, sports,
work, family and of course my love, Renee. No one knows
whether you will get anything back but like the good old
movie Love Actually proposed...

LOVE isn't about what you GET...
But rather, it is about what you GIVE...

For that matter, it isn't just love, its everything, give
more instead of asking or taking more, you may find yourself
happier or more contented that way.

If the whole world can do that, maybe our world can become
happy, warm and definitely de-stressed... Maybe if people start looking
at the things they can give instead of the things they want to get, people
will be happier, but of course, one would be a saint to be able to just keep giving,
he/she needs something back too sometimes.

Do a good deed today, GIVE.... I'll start following closely now... :)

A Brand New Me...

My blog has changed layouts a couple of times now but needless to say, this has got to be the most satisfying of them all, i absolutely love this new layout and kudos and many thanks to my wonderful girlfriend, Renee for her beautiful vision and work! Thank you!

With a new theme comes a new beginning, i have been posting too much love posts in the past that i almost forgotten how to write. From now, its a brand new mind and thinking, i would write whatever i want to write, post whatever pictures i want to post.

I'm actually excited to start writing again, though i have a couple of topics i wanna talk about, i have no idea which one i would start first... But nonetheless, i really love this new piece of me...

Cheers People
Be Well....
